TAKING THE ON-LINE QUIZ    Posted: Aug 10, 2006
Hello RTV 100 Students. I have been contacted by a few of you asking how to take the on-line quiz. Below is a step by step answer.

Taking the on-line quiz

First go to my website at http://daphne.palomar.edu/phahn/default.htm Remember you can always go to GOOGLE or YAHOO and type in Pat Hahn which will also take you there.

Next go to RTV 100 on the right hand side.

Click on your class. (T Th or M-W) Now you are on the class web page.
Click on the syllabus
Click on the textbook link (it is underlined) Click on "Student Edition" on left side of page Click on "chose a part" and select part one Next choose a chapter Start with chapter one You will see links for ch outline, ch summary and flash cards. Above that will be multiple chapter quiz. Take the quiz and then when done hit submit. At the top will tell you how many you got correct. Notice the green check marks. Those are the correct answers. Course Description
This course is an introduction to the American system of electronic communication. It deals with the origins, historical development, and the present structure, characteristics, and problems of the broadcasting industry, including radio, television, cable and related electronic media. You will learn how electronic communication works, how it is organized, how it is financed, how it is regulated, its effects upon society, and its future potential. Beyond learning facts, you will be confronted with the issues that shape this industry. You will be challenged to be more sophisticated in analyzing the influence of the electronic media in your life, and to take a more creative and active role in shaping the direction of electronic communication in the future.
